Chapter 2 I'm not here to break you up!
Rosa did take a stab, the one to her shoulder. She found that her speed and strength, thanks to the solver, were greater than the other Cybertronians, making it easy for her to deal with those guys, but she didn't want to use the solver directly.
Her body was getting a little hot, so she conserved her energy and ate the Decepticons before leaving.
The trace of that energy body was indeed hers, but she quickly repaired it using the solver.
Moreover, she knew very well that there was absolutely no such thing as a solver in her father's hometown, and she didn't want to be a conspicuous presence in this war; she had to play it safe.
After all, if she were discovered, it would be a matter of either joining or dying. Or she wouldn't want to join a faction and would be overwhelmed by their sheer numbers. She didn't want to experience either of those, so she could only manually deal with those "fellow villagers" who wanted to attack her.
Fortunately, she was often trained by her father and would occasionally go out to deal with other killing machines, so she had a lot of experience. However, she hadn't fought with other robots of similar size for a long time, so she naturally got a few bruises.
Rosa placed her hand in front of the core.
There was a stab aimed at my core just now. Although the wound has completely disappeared and is no longer visible, the fear still lingers. When I was young, I was inexperienced and often got injured by other killers. There were even times when they deliberately stabbed me in the core.
But that was many years ago.
Fortunately, aside from consuming some energy for repairs, nothing else happened. After all, simply poking the solver won't kill you, but if you don't find food soon, you might really die if your core overheats.
So Rosa, who had just escaped, began to think about how to find food. Eating people was an option, but she usually ate energy bodies and oil, and it had been so long since she had eaten people that she wouldn't be able to get used to it anytime soon.
Especially now that there are robots of similar size to myself, it's been a long time since I've encountered one other than my father.
After all, the only TF you usually see at home is your own dad.
Well, if she really can't find an energy source here and has no choice but to kill a TF to eat, then there's nothing we can do.
Rosa started thinking about how to find food. Ideally, she could get a long-term meal ticket. The machines she killed should have some kind of hideout, right? Maybe she should go look for them?
She decided to take the risk of following the enemy's movements and then hide in their hideout to freeload.
Well, how should I put it? Actually, her own mother's clan is very good at imitation and disguise, so for Rosa, who has half her mother's blood and the solver, hiding is not a difficult task.
Soon, she quietly circled back to the spot where she had been, trying to hide herself as she walked.
-
"Disconnected?"
The Autobots on the other side followed the intermittent trail of blood forward, but saw nothing. The conspicuous blue liquid on the metal floor disappeared completely here, leaving no trace. The amount of bleeding, which had started as large swathes of energy, rapidly decreased to what was visible to the naked eye.
"This doesn't make any sense at all!" The orange-white machine stepped forward, staring wide-eyed at the energy body that had vanished after only a few drops. Unconvinced, it searched the vicinity again, finding no parts lying on the ground, no drag marks, no signs of a fall, and no tire tracks.
"I've never welded a wound with this much bleeding so quickly before, and I can even weld it while running."
The blue-and-red machine looked up and around. It was a place similar to a large square, an open space where you could see if anyone was around. He had also seen the amount of blood loss just now. Could someone who was seriously injured and had left not long ago just vanish into thin air?
"Hey Optimus Prime, don't you think something's a little weird?"
The pillar looked at the square: "It's really eerie."
"I'll search the surrounding area again."
-
Rosa successfully located their stronghold, or rather, a base.
It was very tall and very large, with several floors, and there were countless patrolling soldiers around it, as well as Cybertronians constantly carrying things inside.
She used the simplest method: using projection to hide herself and then following. Of course, she didn't dare get too close after spotting her target because there were too many people around. The projection only covered her optical self; she still had a physical body, and if she were accidentally touched, it would be the end of her.
Fearing the soldier might notice, she didn't walk. Instead, she extended several tentacles that gently touched the ground, allowing her feet to dangle in the air as she followed the soldier into the base. Rosa looked at the bustling hall, which was decorated in a dark purple hue, from the walls to the floor. And, whether to save energy or something else, the lights were very dim, which made it easier for Rosa to move around the base.
Her core pounded as she moved to a blind spot where no one was around and the cameras were in a dead zone. She activated the absolute solver, extending her entire body into tiny tentacles that reached into the ventilation ducts. Once her entire body was inside, she began to try to move quickly and silently through the ducts. Her next step was to familiarize herself with the area and memorize some camera locations, ideally capturing a few people without making a sound.
She decided to use a projector to mimic the machine she had captured, but only after accessing its memory files. This way, she could openly use the projector to check the locations of the cameras.
Next, retrieve the soldiers' supplies. Extend a portion of the body from the blind spot closest to the supply room's surveillance cameras, then use projection to conceal the entire body. On the surface, it appears to be just a normal Decepticon soldier; even if you shake hands with it, you won't notice anything amiss because it's an extended, solid body. However, this means the projection can only move along the wall.
However, for a body to move, it still needs to be connected to another body, so it still has a physical form, which can be seen but touched.
If it's directly on the ground, you'll notice it immediately if you accidentally step on it. If you choose the ceiling, the projection will be too obvious if you're not careful and it flickers. Maybe try connecting it to the wall and then walk along the side?
That's how it'll be done. To make sure no machine would notice anything amiss, she extended her body into various parts of the duct and placed something that looked a bit like a surveillance camera at each ventilation point, which could be used for eavesdropping.
The purpose is to know if anyone has noticed anything amiss. If they find out, they won't need to deliver supplies after one shipment. Otherwise, if they are questioned next time, they will be exposed.
Rosa decides to live in the Decepticon base's ventilation ducts for a while. Whenever there's any disturbance or someone goes missing, her projection is immediately abandoned, and she turns to look for the next lucky one.
However, Rosa was also thinking about a problem: could these soldiers really tell who was who? If they couldn't tell who was who, would it be enough to just kill one person?
So, just to be on the safe side, we decided to kill a few first to test the waters.
Of course, ideals are beautiful, but reality is harsh. When Rosa was nervously planning to kill a soldier, she was almost discovered because her gaze was too obvious. Although the soldier looked up and didn't see anything, Rosa's nervousness caused the projection to flash, and a huge scythe growing out of the ventilation duct appeared.
Fortunately, she acted quickly, killing him and dragging him away.
She deliberately enlarged the vent and then covered it with the projector, before forcefully stuffing the person inside and binding them tightly to ensure that no sound would be made.
The receiver and all communication devices were also removed, and people were not allowed to call for help.
Just when Rosa thought she had knocked one out and that using the projection of the captured soldier to lure the other soldier over would make things easier, another unexpected event occurred. Whether it was because it was strange that someone was inexplicably calling him over during his shift, or something else, the other soldier became wary. When he saw Rosa's projected soldier beckoning him over, he hesitated and didn't go in. Instead, he looked around and found that it was a blind spot.
That makes sense. If they find someone missing during their rounds, and then a while later turn around to find the machine for absenteeism beckoning them over, it all seems a bit odd.
In short, he was standing too far away and missed. He was only standing on the edge of the blind spot of the surveillance camera. He could have run a few steps to the camera. If the person being monitored had seen what strange thing killed the person, they might have been able to thoroughly investigate what it was.
In a moment of desperation, Rosa used the solver to control the camera to turn left and face the wall. She didn't capture anything, but the camera moved on its own. Such an anomaly could not be ignored.
Even people who were about to disappear just a second ago walked by.
Ha, why don't we just break out and run away?
Or there is another way: first, prevent him from disappearing, then use his projection to pretend to move around the base after reading his memories. After this period of time since he has been dead has passed, stop using the projection and blur the time of his death while making him "disappear" from the Decepticons' list.
No, wait, maybe there's another way. These soldiers don't show their faces, so why not wear a soldier's skin and freeload off them?
Unbeknownst to her, the soldier on guard in the monitoring room had already noticed the camera's sudden, self-turning action.
The soldier, who was still half asleep, was startled awake when he saw the camera suddenly turn around. He rubbed his optical glasses and looked again, unsure. By then, the person had been taken away by tentacles, and the camera's view had been restored.
So I didn't see anything; it was like an illusion.
...He decided to tell his group of buddies when he was on shift, but...the buddy who was supposed to be on his shift was probably going to get into trouble soon.
The reason is simple: Rosa's extended body has already reached the ventilation ducts of the monitoring room, and she has a brilliant plan. Since the sudden disappearance of a person will alarm them and they will pay more attention to the missing person, wouldn't it be easier to avoid being discovered if the missing person keeps stirring things up?
Anyone could disappear, so you don't know if the machine in front of you has actually "disappeared".
The point is to be careful to run away after a while, to prevent things from escalating to higher levels and getting a search warrant that's so detailed it even includes searching the ventilation ducts.
Hmm, perhaps we could randomly select a lucky person to acquire their memories and replace them directly by wearing a cloak.
Of course, first of all, the communication devices of these two arrested individuals must be handed over; they can't be allowed to contact outside help.
