Chapter 127: An Adventure in the Wonderful Magical Garden of the Immortal Realm
Liu Yu and his companions' days in the Immortal Realm were filled with surprises and laughter. One day, they heard that deep within the Immortal Realm lay a mysterious magic garden, said to be home to all sorts of wondrous magical plants and wondrous creatures. Upon hearing this, Liu Yu's curiosity was piqued, and he dragged Bai Suzhen, Xu Xian, and Xiaoqing towards the magic garden.
As they arrived at the entrance to the magic garden, they were blocked by a magnificent magical barrier. Liu Yu charged forward recklessly, only to be bounced back and fall flat on his face. He scrambled to his feet, muttering, "What kind of lousy barrier is this?!"
Bai Suzhen smiled slightly, used her magic to easily break through the barrier. The group entered the garden and were immediately stunned by the sight before them.
The flowers in the garden were colorful, as big as washbasins, and they would turn in different directions as people approached. Liu Yu curiously reached out to touch a pink flower, but the flower suddenly opened its mouth and bit his finger. Liu Yu cried out in pain, "Ouch! This flower bites!"
Xu Xian and Xiao Qing laughed so hard they couldn't stand up straight.
They continued walking and came to a huge tree, covered with fruits that looked like lanterns. Liu Yu wanted to pick one to take a look, but as soon as she climbed up the tree, the fruits suddenly lit up, startling her so much that she almost fell off the tree.
"What the hell is this thing?!" Liu Yu complained as she carefully climbed down the tree.
Just then, a little rabbit came running by, its body covered in colorful feathers. Liu Yu chased after it, trying to catch it, but the little rabbit ran incredibly fast, occasionally turning back to make a funny face. Liu Yu ran until he was panting but couldn't catch it, and collapsed to the ground, exhausted.
Xiaoqing laughed and said, "Brother-in-law, you can't keep up with that speed!"
They came to a meadow where the grass was like a spring, bouncing people up whenever they stepped on it. Liu Yu excitedly jumped around on the grass, but he bounced so high that he flew straight into a tree and got stuck on a branch.
"Help! Get me down!" Liu Yu shouted from the tree.
Xu Xian and Bai Suzhen went to great lengths to save him.
Next, they saw a pond with colorful water that was bubbling. Liu Yu reached out to play in the water, but as soon as his hand went in, he was sucked in by a force. He struggled desperately in the water and swallowed several mouthfuls.
Bai Suzhen quickly used her magic again to pull Liu Yu out of the water. Liu Yu was soaked to the bone, like a drowned rat, and kept sneezing.
"This garden is too dangerous!" Liu Yu said, still shaken.
Just as they were about to leave, a huge butterfly flew by. Its wings were adorned with beautiful patterns, and Liu Yu was captivated, wanting to catch it.
He followed the butterfly and ran, unknowingly wandering into a maze. The walls of the maze moved, and Liu Yu wandered around for a long time without finding the exit.
"Oh dear, why am I so unlucky!" Liu Yu sat on the ground, looking helpless.
Xu Xian and the others waited outside for a long time but Liu Yu did not come out, so they anxiously searched for her everywhere.
Finally, Bai Suzhen used her magic to find Liu Yu and led him out of the maze.
Liu Yu said wearily, "I'm never coming to this magic garden again, it's too exhausting!"
Everyone left the magic garden with smiles on their faces.
They continued wandering in the celestial realm and saw a deity selling all sorts of magical trinkets. Liu Yu picked up a talking puppet, which kept saying, "You're so ugly, you're so ugly!" Liu Yu angrily threw the puppet back.
They passed a performance area where a clown was juggling, and ended up throwing all the balls at the heads of the audience, causing a commotion.
Liu Yu laughed until her stomach hurt.
As they walked, they came to a restaurant. Liu Yu ordered a table full of dishes and was enjoying her meal when she suddenly noticed that the food on her plate had come to life and was jumping around.
"How can we eat like this!" Liu Yu said helplessly, putting down her chopsticks.
Xu Xian and Xiao Qing laughed uncontrollably.
In the evening, they found a place to rest.
That night, Liu Yu lay in bed, recalling the day's wondrous experiences, and drifted off to sleep. In his dream, he was still adventuring in the magic garden, only this time, he was much smarter and no longer fooled by those magical plants and creatures.
