Chapter 1011 - 461: Battle for the Ice Soul
"No, Amy, I won’t let you give up just like that. Your mission isn’t completed, I can’t let you vanish!"
He took a deep breath and began to summon the power of his Divine Origin and Jade Divine Format, attempting to further restore Amy’s soul and divine body.
However, the process was exceptionally arduous, as if an invisible force was obstructing him.
Just then, David suddenly felt a strong chill emanating from Amy, sweeping throughout the Ice Chamber.
He was astonished to find that a faint phantom appeared deep within Amy’s soul—a woman in a Frost Robe, her visage stunningly beautiful, her eyes containing endless majesty and compassion.
"Frost Goddess Sif!" David exclaimed in shock.
He had not expected that at this critical moment, the phantom of the Ice and Snow Goddess Sif would appear in Amy’s Sea of Consciousness.
Sif’s phantom slowly turned her head, gazing profoundly at David. "Brave warrior, you have finally arrived."
Her voice was like a clear spring in the ice, both cold and melodious.
David bowed his head respectfully and said, "Great Frost Goddess, please tell me how to save Amy, she is my most important partner."
Sif smiled slightly and said, "Amy is my reincarnation vessel, her destiny is closely linked with mine. However, repairing her soul and divine body is not an easy task. You must gather three Lost Holy Relics: the Ice Crystal Heart, Frost Tears, and Eternal Ice."
"These three relics represent the purity, sorrow, and eternity of the Power of Frost. Only by merging them can you unleash the true power of frost."
Upon hearing this, David was filled with a strong determination. "Please tell me, where can these three relics be found?"
Sif shook her head and said, "I do not know their exact locations. These relics have been lost since ancient times, and they may be hidden in any corner of the cosmos. But I believe you will find them because you are the one chosen by destiny."
After speaking, Sif’s phantom gradually dissipated, as if it had never appeared. David watched her silhouette, filled with gratitude and respect. He knew he bore a major mission and responsibility and had to find those three Lost Holy Relics as soon as possible.
He turned around and said to Liya and Reina, "We must set out immediately to find those three Lost Holy Relics. Time is of the essence; we cannot waste a single moment."
Liya and Reina nodded in agreement upon hearing this.
They knew this adventure would be full of the unknown and danger, but they were also willing to fight alongside David, facing all challenges together.
The three quickly left the Ice King’s Court, beginning their journey to search for the Lost Holy Relics.
They traversed countless Star Domains and Planes, experiencing countless trials of life and death and difficult choices.
At the edge of the Ice World, David, Amy, Liya, and Reina stood on a snow-covered wilderness, gazing determinedly at the deep and mysterious Aurora Abyss ahead.
Here was the path they must take to find the first Lost Holy Relic—the Ice Soul Star Core.
"According to ancient texts, the Ice Soul Star Core is hidden at the bottom of the Aurora Abyss, guarded by an Ancient Ice Dragon."
Reina whispered, her voice trembling slightly in the cold wind, but her eyes filled with determination.
David nodded, taking a deep breath, feeling the biting cold wind around him, filled with an inexplicable excitement.
He knew this would be an unprecedented adventure, but he also believed that only by forging ahead could he find hope to save Amy.
"Let’s go." David said, taking the lead as he stepped towards the entrance of the Aurora Abyss.
Amy, Liya, and Reina followed closely, as the four of them ventured into the unknown domain.
Inside the Aurora Abyss was a vast ice cavern world, with ice crystals of various shapes hanging on the cave walls, sparkling with enchanting light.
However, behind this beautiful scene lay endless dangers.
They had to proceed cautiously, avoiding the hidden traps in the shadows.
As they ventured deeper, the surrounding temperature continued to drop, making it difficult even to breathe.
But the four of them did not retreat; they supported each other, driven by strong faith and relentless perseverance, continuing to explore forward.
Finally, after numerous hardships, they reached the bottom of the Aurora Abyss.
There, a gigantic ice cave stood, with a dragon nest made of condensed ice at the center, where an enormous Ancient Ice Dragon—Nidhogg—lay.
Nidhogg’s body was covered in thick Ice Armor, eyes closed, seemingly in deep slumber.
However, the four did not dare to be careless.
They knew that although this Ice Dragon appeared to be sleeping, it actually possessed immense power and keen perception.
"We must act cautiously," David whispered, signaling everyone to stay vigilant, then slowly approached the Ice Dragon.
As they neared the dragon, suddenly a piercing dragon roar resounded, deafening.
Immediately, Nidhogg opened its eyes wide, a furious and wild light shining within.
"No, it’s awake!" Reina exclaimed.
Nidhogg let out a deafening roar, its massive body giving a mighty stretch, breaking free from the dragon nest.
