Jiang Yu shot him a glare, feigning disdain, "Relax, I'll make sure Xiaoyan saves a portion for you."

"Hehe, Lao Jiang, you're the best!"

Hu Zhihai chuckled, winking at Jiang Yu, "So it's settled then, I'll feel more at ease studying in the library."

"Off you go then!"

Jiang Yu waved him away, "If you don't pass this time, you'll be heading home to inherit billions."

In just two days, the anticipation quietly passed.

The previously calm campus, as still as an ancient well, suddenly became lively and vibrant because of the Seventh Dining Hall's event.

During these two days, every corner of the campus buzzed with chatter about the beer and barbecue event, with everyone eager for an unprecedented experience.

What's on the menu didn't matter much; the food at the Seventh Dining Hall is delicious, and all they needed to bring was their appetite.

Some students even deliberately ate less over these two days, just so they could devour more treats on the night of the event.

Although Jiang University was on break, the gate management wasn't lax, making it harder for outsiders to sneak in for a meal than reaching the sky.

At the first-floor window of the dining hall, a long barbecue grill was set up. It was early, so the charcoal hadn't been lit yet, but all kinds of fresh barbecue ingredients were already spread out on stainless steel trays, filling several large tables.

The ingredients ranged from meat to vegetables, a vast array that left one salivating just from a glance.

Most of the helpers lived near the school, so staying late wasn't a big issue for them, but those from the city wouldn't have buses to get home if they stayed until past 10 PM.
