Before long, the group saw the branch of the Hundred Beasts Pavilion prepared by Yun Congyi.

The other side had reception rooms and some high-end exhibition halls, arranged like a small auction house, suited for auctioning special fierce beasts.

What satisfied Chen Jiuge the most wasn’t the environment of the Hundred Beasts Pavilion, but the authority Yun Congyi granted him. Yun Congyi didn’t even arrange the pavilion’s staff or supervise it; it’s clear he truly saw Chen Jiuge as his last lifeline.

"Was merely passing intelligence to Master Seven that severe?"

"Is it because of the Yun Family’s rules Yun Hu mentioned?"

Regarding this, Chen Jiuge had asked Lie Guang, but Lie Guang, being just an outsider of the Yun Family, clearly wasn’t familiar enough to know the Yun Family’s rules.

"Xi, from now on you’ll be the shopkeeper of the Hundred Beasts Pavilion, no problem?"

Xi was someone Chen Jiuge brought from Mountain City Dark Star; due to Andrew’s life-saving grace, when Andrew decided to follow Chen Jiuge to Dusk Main City, Xi also came along.

For the Hundred Beasts Pavilion in the inner circle, Chen Jiuge needed someone to monitor it, and Andrew was a good choice. The key issue was that once Spiritual Beasts left the secret realm, without special conditions, they’d be tainted by the omnipresent Yellow Springs Qi if kept outside for too long.
