Chapter 105 Departure to Oliver City
Chapter 105 Departure to Oliver City
He put the black notebook back in its place, picked up the Adolf statue from the ground, and then walked out of the secret room.
He knocked on the door, and Adolf, who was drinking tea, immediately went over and opened the secret room.
"Well, Anna! Have you memorized everything?"
Diana nodded and handed him the two statues she was holding.
"Okay! I've got it all. Master, this is for you!"
Adolf examined the exquisite Ultraman statue in his hands. 'Why does this statue give me such a thrilling feeling?'
He looked at another statue, and instantly recognized himself from that familiar face. Before he could even feel happy, he saw a long crack on the statue's face!
Adolf showed the statue to Diana.
"Anna! How did I split open?!"
Diana leaned closer and, sure enough, found a crack. She reached out and touched the crack with her finger.
"That should do it!"
Adolf glanced at the statue again. Although the crack was gone, the repair was far too perfunctory! A new scar had appeared on the face; it would have been better if it had been left cracked!
Seeing that Adolf wanted to say something, Diana turned around and walked out.
"Well~ Master, just bear with it~ I'm really sleepy, I'm going back to sleep, bye~"
Adolf didn't say what he was about to say, shook his head with a wry smile, and watched Diana leave.
I carefully placed the two statues in a prominent place on my desk, looking at them from the left and right.
"Actually, it's not bad at all~"
······
After spending a few more days at the academy, Diana had long forgotten about going to work in Oliver City.
Diana only prepared to depart after the Sword Saint himself came to urge her.
Adolf has been busy these past few days preparing for Diana's trip to Oliver City. He plans to have half of the faculty and students go with Diana to establish a branch of the academy in Oliver City!
He had discussed it with Diana and was very much looking forward to the future of peaceful coexistence between humans and demons, as Diana had suggested.
He might scoff at what others said, but Diana's words might actually be true! Because she is both a demon lord and cares deeply for humanity, she is like a scale, maintaining the balance between the two races!
His decision was met with opposition from many faculty members, but Diana had so many mentors that almost all the academicians supported the proposal.
However, many students are unwilling to go there, since a branch campus can never be as good as the main campus.
Adolf didn't insist, and arranged for half of the teachers to go! Adding the several hundred children who were willing to follow Diana, the total number reached over a thousand!
Because Diana had a space-saving bracelet, she saved a lot of space.
On this day, a grand procession of carriages departed from the academy, carrying Little Black along with them. Little Black followed beside Diana's carriage, appearing somewhat excited and eager to explore the outside world.
Torres had been waiting outside the academy, and as soon as he saw the carriage come out, he immediately followed it.
The sight of so many carriages traveling at the same time attracted a large crowd of onlookers.
"Have you heard? Austin Academy is opening a branch! They'll accept students even if you don't have magical talent!"
"I already knew. I've packed my bags and am ready to take my family and join the convoy to Oliver City!"
"What! You don't want to live anymore! Oliver City is right next to the Demon King's City! How dangerous!"
"With Miss Diana here, what is there to fear from the Demon King!"
As he spoke, the man wiped away his tears.
"My daughter was saved by Miss Diana! I have no desire to stay in this capital!"
After saying that, the man carried his luggage and his family and followed the convoy.
Diana stood in front of the carriage, looking around and noting down the spatial coordinates of several places—all of which, without exception, were shops selling delicious food.
The carriages traveled at a fairly normal speed within the inner city, and although there were many onlookers, the roads were still quite wide.
After exiting the inner city gate, the carriage began to move slowly because there were just too many people. Many people stood by the carriage, shedding tears of gratitude, and others offered food and supplies.
At first, Diana was very touched and waved to the crowd from in front of the carriage, but there were just too many people behind her, so she had to go back into the carriage.
"Anna! You've done a really good deed! Everyone is very grateful to you!"
Looking at the dense crowd outside the carriage, Cora felt a strange sense of pride.
Diana scratched her head.
"You're all too kind, it's just a small matter!"
Elua climbed into Diana's arms and hugged her.
"Sister Anna! Next time you do something like this, you have to take me with you! I want everyone to like me too!"
Diana patted her head.
"Xiaoya is already very cute, everyone likes you very much!"
"Really? You like her even more than Anna?"
Little stars twinkled in Elua's azure eyes.
Diana pondered for a moment, then gestured with her fingers.
"People might like me a little more, but Xiaoya will surpass me when she grows up!"
"Then I need to grow up quickly!"
Elua said it with great conviction.
Little White jumped onto Diana's lap, gesturing and chattering away.
Diana rolled her eyes at her.
"Forget about it~ Not everyone likes foxes!"
Little White immediately refused to cooperate and started rolling around on Diana's lap.
Diana was taken aback and pointed at Little White.
"Oh! No wonder it sounded so familiar! You taught Xiaoya that trick!"
Little White froze instantly, pretending to be dead.
The sound of several girls' silvery laughter rang out in the carriage.
Because there were too many people in the outer city during the day, they only left the city gates at night, and the guards did not dare to stop them, so they opened the city gates directly to let them pass.
Not long after leaving the city gate, Emma's voice came from ahead.
"Anna! Come quick, what are we going to do?!"
Diana handed the sleeping Elua to Cora and stepped out of the carriage.
"What's wrong, Emma?"
Emma glanced at the people following her.
“These people have been following us since we entered the city, and they continued to follow us even after we left the city!”
Diana gestured for Emma to stop the carriage and looked at a man carrying a girl on his back beside the carriage. She recognized the girl; she was one of the children she had rescued.
Why are you following the carriage?
The man put the girl down from his back and then bowed respectfully.
"Miss, we all want to go to Oliver City with you! You don't need to wait for us!"
"Then get on the carriage!"
The man was very touched and waved his hand repeatedly to refuse.
Emma sighed.
"Anna! We can't take all of them, there are still many people behind us!"
Diana was somewhat surprised. She flew into the air and looked back. Good heavens, there were people all around and behind the long convoy!
"What can we do?"
Diana returned to the carriage, feeling a pang of reluctance as she watched the people walk towards Oliver City.
Diana instructed everyone to find an open space to rest, then returned to the carriage and explained the situation to them.
The group frowned and pondered: how many carriages would be needed for so many people!
Jenny muttered to herself.
"If only Grandpa Anna were here, he knows spatial magic!"
Diana suddenly realized what was happening, went over and hugged Jenny, making her blush bright red.
"Jenny! You're amazing!"
"I almost forgot about that! I know spatial magic!"
The group looked at Diana with utter confusion. "When did you learn spatial magic?! How come we didn't know?"
