Lin Youwei stood at the bottom of the steps with her two children in her hands, her face upturned, her bright smile seemingly capable of melting the snow on the courtyard wall.
She wore a beige coat and a bright red wool scarf, which made her skin look even whiter and brighter.
Duo Duo and Le Le, the two little ones, were bundled up like two round little bears, wearing matching handmade woolen hats. Their little faces were red from the cold, and they were staring at Li Xiangnan with their big, dark eyes.

Li Xiangnan hurriedly walked down the steps. The heaviness and doubt in his heart caused by Yuan Tong's visit disappeared in a strange way the moment he saw this bright smiling face.

The fire in the stove in the main room was burning brightly, making it warm and cozy.
Qin Ruobai came out of the inner room carrying Xiao Xitang. When he saw Lin Youwei, he was pleasantly surprised: "Youwei, oh my, you're here!"
Little Xitang seemed to be infected by the lively atmosphere, waving her little fists in her mother's arms and making happy babbling sounds.
